Eversharp Warranty Policy and Shipment Release Policy
You will notice that every Eversharp Proforma invoice has an estimated ship date. This represents a projected ex-factory shipment release date that, in most cases, allows for proper production processes to be fulfilled, including our quality control process. There are instances in which Eversharp can not meet the timing cited in our Proforma. Although various things can crop up that delay shipment dates, we can assure you that we will be working extremely hard to avoid any inconvenience to you, our valued customer. Our Eversharp product guarantee is based on our normal lead time and/or the estimated ship date in your Proforma, which gives us the appropriate duration to handle our manufacturing duties with diligence and care. We will warranty our product for one year from ship date against defects in workmanship or materials based on production done within this framework.
Eversharp is indemnified and held harmless from any shipment delays due to acts of God / acts of nature, unforeseeable events, any changes in the order initiated by the customer, production issues related to new processes or techniques, or other misforune that may arise in the course of business that were unavoidable.
There are certain cases in which our customers will request an improved ship date. We understand that issues arise wherein it is critical to meet deadlines on your side. Eversharp will do everything within its power to expedite your shipment; however, there are a couple of important caveats. Eversharp will not be responsible for any production errors, quality problems, freight expenses, or any other costs or difficulties associated with an expedited shipment (unless it is sent in advance on Eversharp's own accord). Although in the past Eversharp has typically shared all, or part, of the costs of any problems encountered, we will no longer be able to bear this burden with expedited shipments. Secondly, Eversharp does not guarantee that we can meet an expedited ship date request. As part of our company culture and character, we will do all that we can to assist our valued customers; however, unless we revise the Proforma specifically citing a new ship date, it should not be construed as an implicit guarantee of any kind.
Eversharp Returned Goods Policy
Typically, Eversharp will work with you to solve any product related problems or issues. We accept returned product within one year from the shipping date provided that there is some defect in workmanship or materials; however, under no circumstances will any returned products be accepted back if the duration from ship date is over one year. Eversharp also reserves the right to inspect goods returned under warranty to determine eligibility. Eversharp reserves the right to repair, to replace, to apply credit to customer account, or to give refund to any product found to contain defects. The customer is responsible to pay for shipping costs returned to Eversharp. Only, under certain circumstances will Eversharp pay all, or part, of the shipping expenses, which must be authorized by an officer of Eversharp Pro Inc.
If product is nonetheless returned and found to have no defect in materials or workmanship, Eversharp will apply a 25% re-stocking fee and/or may re-sell and liquidate those goods to any market to recoup Eversharp's loss. In this case, any shipping fees that may have been paid by Eversharp on returned goods without defect will be charged back to the customer.
Eversharp Shipping Broker/Agent Policy
In most instances Eversharp uses the shipping agent and broker that you assign. In some cases we recommend a shipping broker because we have very good connections with many agents. However, it is your responsibility to coordinate with your broker to ensure that delays do not occur after the goods leave our Eversharp warehouse. Eversharp does not have any control of the timing of your shipment once it departs our facility and we can not bear any responsibilities for any such delays or any costs associated with delays or changes. Eversharp also bears no responsibility for damage caused during the shipping process. We ask that you take out shipping insurance with your broker to protect your goods while in transit.
There might also be instances in which Eversharp pre-pays freight on your behalf. Eversharp will list the freight cost as an itemized expense on the invoice, which then becomes the responsibility of the "Bill To" party to pay. Eversharp shall not be responsible for any freight expense unless specifically dictated by the terms of the Purchase Order (such as C&F or CIF terms).
From time to time you may notice a clerical error on the paperwork accompanying your shipment. These mistakes are most commonly the result of the broker/shipping agent improperly copying over Eversharp's paperwork to their own internal paperwork. Eversharp is not responsible for transcribing errors or clerical errors of any kind made by your broker on any shipping documents or paperwork. Of course, if the error is on an Eversharp document we will do our best to fix the mistake as soon as possible. We appreciate your kind understanding.
Eversharp Packaging Policy
Eversharp will try to meet the specific packaging requirements that you request. We know that packaging is a key element to the marketing, promotion and presentation of your company product lines and we have the skill and connections to provide almost any type of packaging.
Eversharp will carry/stock several types of packaging for our goods, which to some degree, can be tailored to suit your needs (ex. SKU numbers, logos, etc.).
However, if your packaging is customized, which may include specific material, colors, foam inserts, shape, accessories, style, or other elements, there will be a minimum packaging quantity requirement. You will need to pay in advance for the customized packaging and Eversharp will stock it specifically for your orders.
